Recently just bought a war mumakil from the gw store and was wondering if anyone knew any good painting guides that i cold use??/ btw;have the tomes of wisdom been deleted? would really appreciate one! |

I've been searching for the same thing. The only one I could easily find is: http://www.freewebs.com/necromancer7/mu ... gguide.htm Unfortunately it uses a lot of paint mixing, but does help plan out the process. |

Wow !!! Looks amazing!! I am very tempted but i have already painted some of the haradrim the red colour so i think it will look odd if i don't stick with that |

A really good place for a guide is the (I believe) RotK Journey book. If not, it may be in the Two Towers one. Maybe both. ![]() As for the actual job of painting it, I found it easiest to paint with the Howdah separate from the Mumak as well as the base too. Use a big brush. If you have any specific concerns please ask. Otherwise, I'll just keep spewing out random tips that you may already know about. ![]() |

I absolutely love the purple dragon motif. It is really unique and I like the contrast in shades. I just might have to copy that myself. |

Now this is how I want to paint the Abrakan mamuk that I plan to do one day. Strangely I'd never even thought of distinguishing it with purple war paint until now ![]() |
