Post subject: | Converting a mounted Boromir, Captain of the White Tower |
Hello everybody, I've decided that I want to make myself a mounted Boromir CofWT with a lance, as the mounted Boromir CofWT only comes up occasionally on eBay and is always expensive when he does. I don't know whether to use a mounted faramir as a base and using the top half of a Boromir CofWT foot model, but I fear that this will require using saws and such like. I'm also not sure about the greenstuff work required for a Rider of Rohan + Boromir CofWT job. Can anyone with experience in this field assist me? Cheers |

you may search on ebay for a cheap Boromir from the "mines of moria" set or the Boromir with the shield strap on his back (was in the magazine, there are a lot of them around they're usually quite cheap). You cut the head of a Boromir and then you put in on a minas tirith knight. If you want to keep the sculpting to a minimum this is the better solution. The top half of Boromir COWT has a cape, so you will be forced to sculpt to match the top with the bottom anyway. |
