Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone has an images they could share to show size difference between Warmachine Horde and LotR models?

These are the three in particular I'm thinking of:

http://privateerpress.com/files/product ... ic_WEB.jpg - for a Graug (Shadow of Mordor) with a bit of converting.

It says they're 30mm so I guess they won't seem too different, hopefully!

I do WM as well as LotR so I paint and convert both, and love my Menites (Bow, heathens, to the Canon of the True Law)

I can't get a photo u/l right this moment but from personal experience:

They are noticeably taller, and a little 'chunkier' than GW LotR ranges, and the infantry at least would stand apart. You could indeed probably get away with it, but as I said it would be noticeable.

However the choices you listed could work better than most. That Khand hero would be a big fellow, but that's maybe why he's the hero..

Brill thanks! I guess taller wouldn't be too much of an issue for elf stand-in's but chunkier would be bad..! I think I'll have to get some and see!

The trolls aren't anywhere near as big as they look. The 3 trolls tower over them, so they wouldn't make for good graug.

Ral Partha actually makes some really nice metal elves that I am using for the armies of Lindon. I can try to send/upload a pic if you want, they are unique but scaled right.
