Post subject:  Mirkwood Armoured Bowmen
I love the Mirkwood Elves, and will be buying several for my army, but just one thing bugs me...... the Bows they have are way too small !! I know this sounds like I'm nitpicking but these models cost a lot and should be more accurate :( I'm considering buying a box of Galadhrim Warriors and swapping out the bows, the Galadhrim have correctly sized bows and look similar enough to the Mirkwood versions, has anyone else tried doing this ? It looks simple enough, with a bit of greenstuff here and there it should look really good (hopefully) !

I don't see why this wouldn't work, eager to see your results.

I don't mind them now, they used to bug me a lot. Got to remember that GW got images and scripts very early on. A lot of changes were made and the models were already finished.
