I'm looking at getting some green stuff from Element Games but I'm not sure what the difference is between the three types (not counting GW). Are they all identical in composition, or are certain brands of green stuff better quality? Which of these would you recommend, taking into consideration cost per weight/inch and quality? 1: Army Painter 8 inch £4.68 http://elementgames.co.uk/tools/tool-kneadite-green-stuff-8 2 18 inch £4.25 http://elementgames.co.uk/paints-hobby-and-scenery/epoxies-milliput/18-inch-green-stuff 3 100g £8.99 http://elementgames.co.uk/paints-hobby-and-scenery-by-manufacturer/the-army-painter/basing-and-accessories/green-stuff-basic-epoxy The third one comes with the epoxy rolled up in tubes. I'm not sure how they compare to the others as the quantity is given as weight (g), not inches. Assuming they're identical in composition and quality, which gives you the most green stuff - the 18 inch or the 100g? |

I have green stuff in the separate yellow/blue tubes. I am not sure if it is more or less than GW, it seams like more though. I have used a lot of the stick kind from various suppliers, but so far the tubes are the best one I have used. I am also able to control how much blue/yellow I use, where as sometimes the sticks are uneven. |

I remember someone saying the biggest advantage of the seperate tubes was that none of the resin accidentally cured, which can be the case when you have the strip with the two types cheek by jowl (sometimes you find a little hard lump in the mix). |

The tubes are also a much better value for your money. You typically get a better cost per weight. You may also want to look into Apoxy Sculpt. You can get much larger containers for the same price as those tubes or strips. I find it to be around a quarter of the price. It works a little bit differently though, so I use it for bulking up under the surface or anything where fine detail isn't necessary. It also cures rock hard and is heavier, so makes for a great way to weight the bottom of bases. |

I think the best place to ask it is here. I am going to buy 6 inches of green stuff from ebay named "Green Stuff Kneadatite Blue Yellow Sculpt". Gw sells but I see it does not refer to length but in weight. It is 20 g. Which one is more??? |
