Okay, so. High Elf Spearmen are too expensive. High Elf Swordsmen are not. I have spare shields from the cavalry kit. The only thing I'm missing is the spears themselves. Where can I find alternatives? I don't mind if they aren't the High Elf style as long as they look suitably ornate/ aren't the boring dark ages style. Any ideas? |

make spear out of metal rods, and put a blob of green-stuff at the top in a spear tip shape. |

You get some spare lances with the knights of rivendell set that should work. Have you thought about using them? |

Unfortunately I got my Knights from Ebay without any of the extras. I've just been looking at the sprues online and I think that is the best idea. So, the question is: Does anyone have that they don't want or know where to get hold of spare spears (with or without arms/hands) (and also the shields) from the Rivendell Knights kit? The banner would be great too, but thats an extra. |

Currently trying to copy the spear tips with instand mold to use on some Noldorin Exiles (otherwise made from normal plastic Wood Elves) - haven't used the stuff before though, so not sure how the results will be, but in theory it should work. And in practice too, eventually. A two-part mold isn't the easiest thing to start with, however. |

Clip the sword blade off. Drill a hole in the base and attach it to paper clip. There is the spear. Take the hilt and carefully secure it in the folds of the cloak, to make it look like the scabbard is beneath it. Readjust the left arm down to hold the shield and drill a hole through the right hand to hold the spear. -Scar |

What're you using to drill into the sword blades? A pin vice? GothmogtheWerewolf wrote: make spear out of metal rods, and put a blob of green-stuff at the top in a spear tip shape. Ive never had much luck with this, but that may simply be due to a lack of experience with greenstuff. |
