I wanted to build a few warbands I hobbits to use just for fun but I didn't want to invest a ton of cash into them, hence the reason I'm looking for non gw hobbits. I saw the suggestion on the sticky and the just weren't what I had invisioned. Any suggestions are helpful |

I did a 'halfling' themed WHF army for a gaming group campaign last year and was looking for around 3 months for suitable models. The best I found was Mirliton aswell. I would say that theyre characterful sculpts, but wildly out of proportion with GW 25mm scale. |

BTD have a couple of Halfling sets at the first link, and the Legions range was purchased by Scotia Grendel but there are only two of what I recall was a quite extensive range of Halflings at the second link. |

Those are interesting alternatives. I first saw this thread and thought "good luck" but it appears that others knew better than I! |

I have about 40 to 50 of those Mirlton figures. They are monsters compared to GW hobbits. Very beefy.Might work if the force was entirely made from them. |

I have a large mix of manufactures. The more you mix the less it matters. The Mirlton/Grenadier look very good as a stand alone unit. They have some nice bow armed Calvary and a knight. Black Hat blend well with GW Warhammer halflings and the 1980's LOTR http://www.blackhat.co.uk/online_shop/i ... d087d3776a |
