Hello,

I want to use these models: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catal ... prod800864
As sort of Ent-ish creatures/Huorns.
Do you think I will have a problem with other players using them? I won't play in competetive games or tournaments etc

Thanks in advance!

For home games its fine, though I suspect that they are far too small. I would suggest the citadel Wood as potential models for Huors:

They were given points values of 50 points each in the now extinct "Legions of Middle Earth" book, but never made it into production.

Here's a scale image I googled. They look a bit small so you may run into issues with people harping on about shooting line of sight.

If it was me, I wouldn't mind, especially if your base size was correct. Ask some of your regular opponents what they think to be sure.

There are Treemen/Ents out there by cheaper manufacturers! Could be worth a peek? I am sure that a lot chaps on this site could post a few links for you.

A homebrew ent army..... Now that's an idea.

Couple of heroes that were mentioned in TTT by tree beard, with stats or special rules based on their tree 'species'. Smaller ent folk with elite infantry stats and with branch rules similar to whips special strikes. Saplings and forest inhabitants as basic troops.

Do it.

I made my ent forest by adding Woodland Scenic tree armatures to old Mage Knight figures. They are about the same size as the GW figures you would like to use.

I will take a few photos and add them to non GW WIP

*That is an old photo Most of the buildings I can see are JR or Hudson Allen Old Glory. That is not what is on that shelf now. I posted a few game table shots on the wip. If you want to see a particular model let me know. I will locate it a make a photo.
