I just scored a major lucky find (among the other lucky finds at Adepticon this year) in a Bullroarer Took Mounted version sans horse for $4 from the Spikey Bits booth, and a metal Sharkey and Worm for $10 from the same booth. Did Bullroarer come with a non mounted version or is there a decent way to convert him up? |

http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catal ... rod1060301 It is possible to add it to your cart, but I am not sure if it is possible to really order it. But you can see the mounted and foot models there |

got one from a friend and 6 metal ruffians as well. now the whole project may be moot if I don't get the non GW models I want to use for the Ruffians approved. Hell, the project may be scrapped if I keep getting the flak that I seem to be getting from one of the locals about my theme idea who has completely gone off on me with my plan on running a pair of horde armies of crappy figs and went off on me for wanting to use historical figs instead of GW ruffians for my grunt ruffians. |

What's the situation in your local gaming group? If it's just one guy out of a larger group that's getting on your case, then I really don't see any reason for you to scrap the project just to make him happy. See how the other local players feel, and if they're alright with it maybe you can see if people are will to back you up and talk to the player in question. Outside of a GW-only environment (store/tournament), he really has no business telling you what models you can or can't use, as long as you're stand-ins aren't intentionally misleading or an unreasonable substitute for the profile in question. If he's your only opponent, or one of the club/tournament organizers, then I understand why it's a little more difficult but honestly, I think I'd look for a new club/opponent. |
