It could be cool to see some banners scattered throughout a goblin army or goblin board even if they're not used as actual equipment. The trouble is that goblin-town doesn't really have anything that stands out as distinctive iconography. The goblins of Moria have the Balrog, orcs across Middle Earth have the Red Eye, orcs/uruks of Cirith Ungol have Shelob/the Tower of Cirith Ungol, etc etc. All goblin town has is a really fat goblin... and I'm not sure anyone would want to see or paint that onto a banner... |

Whatever it is, it'll be dirty and not very well painted. |

Possibly the animal skulls on the Goblin King's staff, crowned with his crown. I can't see it being well-painted though, because Goblins are the least artistic creatures in existence. They'd probably just use spears with enemy corpses/bones on top as their banners. To make them, you could thin one of the support struts from the Goblin-town scenery or cut off the top part of it. |

Several putrid heads stacked horizontally with their hair laying as a banner? (dwarven beards, or human/elven long hairs. The hair size long seems to be longer when death due to dehydration) As the others said, I'm not sure about their icon, but I agree if there is something painted must be really primitive and with goat (or human or whatever) blood as paint. Note: I don't remember where I read it, but I think the "human" skulls in Goblin King staff belongs to his wives. |

yep, the skulls are remains of his ex-wives... its written in the hobbit chronicke design book as motive for a banner i'd pic simple-painted animal skulls too.. or a stylized warg head |
