Hey all,

is there actually a difference between the Dunedain and the Rangers of the North? I'm fairly confused, as searching for 'Dunedain' on ebay only really turns up with Rangers of the North figs.. I have the old Fellowship journeybook and I know that the Dundain there look a lot different to the Rangers of the North... Have the two different names just come to mean the same thing?

gaming wise, dunedain are a point less and only def 4 whereas RoN are def 5 for an extra point. but in essence, they are the same thing.

Both are one and the same - the only distinction is that the 'Rangers of the North' are the Dunedain who were part of the Grey Company and took (arguably) a more active role in the War of the Ring.

In the game this is represented by the Rangers of the North having more defence, representing them prepared for 'war' rather than their 'silent/hidden guardian' roles.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the speedy reply guys! Do the Dunedain still have 1 Might Will and Fate too?
