I know this has been asked a while back, but I didn't see any real conclusions. What resin and RTV brands would peeps in the UK recommend for casting and mould creation ? A simple web search will bring me back a dozen answers, but there's a lot of choice hence looking for recommendations. Also, does anyone have any experience with blown foam - specifically for larger pieces like terrain/buildings etc ? Many thanks.... |

Hey London, I've been using resin and RTV moulds a lot recently and they're great fun. I'll pop the link of the two products I use. However using resin on the mould wears it down a lot faster than casting plaster for example. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300712726979? ... 1439.l2649 http://www.mbfg.co.uk/liquid-plastics/1778.html |

Thanks for the info Drumstick, will definitely follow up and try out those recommendations. I am also keen to try out some plasters. I know there is a huge variety out there and people do often mention the dental plasters specifically. londoncalling |
