Post subject: | KR Multicase and cavalry |
I've been collecting some KR foam trays for storing my figures in, and they work amazingly well for mostly everything. I was recommended a tray for cavalry by the KR rep, which (if you have any experience with them) was the D2H model. They're 51 mm deep, so they work really well with warg riders and general cavalry EXCEPT those riders armed with spears or lances as they become either too tall or too long. (The Dol Amroth Captain is ESPECIALLY protruding) Does anyone have experience with KR and would like to share their wisdom about cavalry storage? |

I have one of these cases. It's mixed Cavalry and Infantry. I have the old Harad Raiders, in metal, and they fit good. But the Mahud Raiders stand a bit high in the foam. All of them I store upside down in the case, due to the bases. Overall I love this case and find them a superior value! |

How many cavalry can they hold? I've looked at KR a few times and not been too sure. |

I have some KR cases and generally have found them to be very good but have also had the problems of some figures fitting better than others. One way i have got around it was using the pick and pluck trays which let you take out pieces to make pretty much any size and shape hole. It does take some time and effort to figure out the best way of getting as many models in as possible and probably still isn't the most efficient in those terms but it has worked reasonably for me. |
