So, with the release of the new Vampire Counts, I was wondering if the new cavalry, the Black Knights, were about the same size as Riders of the Dead. I know Warhammer is in the heroic style, but they seem to be about the right look, and are alot cheaper than the current all metal ones, but I'm not sure about size. http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catal ... od1460004a |

If Riders of the Dead are any larger than a Rider of the Riddermark then most likely yes. Just compared a Knight of the Realm with a Rider of Rohan and he's roughly half a inch taller but not much longer or wider (<1/2 inch). |

As I understand it, a lot of the LOTR metals are actually in the "heroic scale" even though they aren't supposed to be. |

Most of the cavalry riders are smaller (least ways they look smaller) than the foot version, like the SWKoDA. The Foot Knights are quite a bit bigger than the mounted ones, so I actually wouldn't mind if these were slightly bigger than normal. |
