OK this is a really stupid question and i feel a tad embarrased, but i'm a bit of a perfectionist and only like getting things done right the first time...
How do you guys stick on sheilds? Particulary i'm sticking them on Galadhrim warriors. Do you just super glue them on or do you drill a hole in the arm and use a sausage bit of green stuff attached to the back of the shield and into the drileld hole?
Normally i would probabily glue them but due to the concave shield i can't glue the centre of the shield onto the arm ( i'd have to glue on the edges).

I've always just glued them on, sometimes it takes a few attempts to get it right. I know the Dol Amroth shields can be a nuisance in that respect, so I just put the glue on, lay the model down then sit the shield on. That way gravity can do its job while the glue sets.
I don't have any Galadhrim though sorry, so sitting the shields on the models might not be an option with their particular sculpts.
Pinning would probably work very well, though I imagine it would take quite a while to do for a whole army.

I pin my shields using safety pins.
