Since the footknights of dol amroth where so expensive I converted my own using Numenor Warriors and WoMT, but I've got a couple of problems: 1) How could I fill in the gaps where the shield of the NW was supposed to be ? 2) What colour sheme could I use for it? Imagen a WoMT in dol armoth sheme If someone has the answers where I'm looking for, please post it. Raggbur |

1. it's cutting and green stuff for you No, but I cant come up with any other answer, cut away the round part and just fill and sculpt with green stuff. 2. Regal Blue and other nyances of blue! And som skull white and chainmail/Mithril silver |

I agree with the King of Mirkwood. The color scheme should definitely include silver, blue and white. It's one of the heraldic devices that Tolkien actually describes clearly (if you care about that sort of thing). If possible, I would file away the details on the shields and freehand the swan ship too (the logos on the earlier metals are fairly simple, 2D designs, and wouldn't be terribly hard to paint en masse). |

Alright, so a chainmail armour, but how do I combine the white and blue ? The body is from a WoMT, it doesn't have a cape. @ The King of Mirkwood : so GS is the answer, but what could I ''sculpt'' to make it look nice ? Raggbur |

Well, I guess you have to sculpt so it's fits with the arm, I dont have a miniature here right now but I think you have to sculpt the rest of the arm. Maybe something on the dress to, dont remember. You just have to try and hopefully it will turn out good |

i know im noob but what i would do is file away any heraldry on the models sculpt capes on all of them give them knight sheilds that can be bought seperatly and them paint them like normal knights mithril silver armour enchanted blue cape and wash the armour with a blue wash of some sort and paint the rest normally |
