| Post subject: | Crouching Frodo/Sam? |
Was looking for crouching or lying down Frodo/Sam miniatures for a diorama I had planned. I vaguely remember seeing a set a year or so back called Captured by Gondor....I'm pretty sure this had crouching miniatures, could anyone confirm this and/or link to pictures? I've googled for a good bit and it's amazing how few results "captured by gondor" pulls up. Even Ebay has nothing. -Josh |

Do you mean the one where Sam is making a fire and Frodo is resting beside a tree? |

The "Captured By Gondor" Box set did include a crouching sam and lying down frodo. eBob used it in "camp" diorama. http://www.one-ring.co.uk/phpBB2/album_ ... ic_id=7154 A more viable switch for Frodo would probably be the crouching Merry miniature from the ancient Grishnak w. Merry & Pippin blister. http://www.ums-agram.hr/lotr/shopping/t ... shnakh.gif Both sets are unfortunately OOP, so it's a little hard to get hold of them >< I'm still looking for the crouching Merry, as I have the Pippin mini from the set. I'll have to give it some thought. In the diorama they're supposed to be hiding behind something, so I'll have to think how I could work that out. @ Eorl thanks I'll keep you in mind for sure, if I end up deciding I need them I'll be sure to get in touch
