hey all, i am painting my galadhrim knights and the color for my horses are going to be white, i am going to base coat their skin as skull white, then i thought i would wash it with badab black on the white, then i would highlight the horse.. is this a good idea, i know some people use astromican grey and other light grey colors but i don't have them. anyway please comment as quickly as possible! |

If you can get ahold of some light grey (fortress or astronomican grey) I'd highly recommend it. Take, for example, a white horse Tim (tidoco) painted a while back. http://www.one-ring.co.uk/phpBB2/kb.php?mode=article&k=478 |

I woudl say do what Anduril said or what you are already doing. Just to make sure you don't make it too evil looking(which is easy to do). |
