Do you have to glue the Khandish man to the chariot or is he already attached? I'm thinking about a Haradrim Chariot conversion...

I don't have one, but I'd imagine that you have to glue him in. It'd be a very odd (and likely difficult to produce) sculpt if not.

If it's done in some weird way, you could always consider a WH High Elf Chariot (get cool lions in it too ;) ) as the basis for the conversion. Will you use it as a Khandish chariot ruleswise or create houserules or a bit of both?

I also assumed you'd have to glue him, but I thought I should check.

I think I'll be using almost the exact same rules for the chariot. I might add the option for a War Spear or something.

You do have to glue him in. I have seen a friend putting one together; after painting his chieftain, he glued him in.

Answer found then ;) How about simply replacing his two-handed axe with a war spear or with the poisoned special rule? Maybe have it read something like "Equipment: Hand weapon and may choose from war spear or poison".

Actually, I was planning on taking the Khandish guy out completely and replacing him with a Haradrim King/Chieftain.

Wht do you think you'll do with the lose Khandish chieftain? Just have him on foot and/or trade him?

Let me know how this goes and I'm intrigued to see if it looks as good as it sounds :D

Just had an idea: You could try to replace the horse with a serpent rider one?

I don't have any interest in Khand, so I'll probably try to trade him.

Serpent Rider horses? I like the idea, but I don't think my conversion skills are up to it. It would also increase the price significantly.

Don't expect anything soon, I've currently got loads of models on my wish list (don't we all  ).

Well, without seeing the model parts, I would assume that it is a simple case of just lift the yoke of the chariot, pull the horse out, place the other one and drop it back into place. It may be connected, but I'm not sure that it would be. However, I also don't know if the serpent rider's legs would be attached. Still, it's something to consider to reinforce the Harad theme ;)

I have a normal Kandish warrior in chariot (not the king one), so I will describe the set to you.

The man, horses, chariot, wheels, and the thing connecting the horses to the chariot are all seperate pieces. You could easily replace the man, or the horses, without any need to convert anything (although using a little greenstuff to make harnesses for the horses would be best). I would also recommend converting the chariot itself somewhat, as it looks quite Khandish in appearance (perhaps a few horns or something).

I would imagine the King in chariot to be similar, but I don't have one so can't say for certain.

I probably will be getting the normal Khandish warrior in a chariot (rather than the Khandish king in chariot), simply because it's cheaper.

Anyways, thanks for all the help. 8)

I've been thinking, would this be a good conversion to enter in the One Ring awards?

If you'd like. Most people prefer to keep their entries secret, but it's up to you.
