Outside of this fine hobby of course As those who frequent the chatroom know, I have quite a... soft spot for Lego. Whilst sorting out some of my collection (yes, I know how sad that sounds ) I began to wonder, what kind of things do you guys collect? Whether it be Lego like myself, vinyls, antiques, stamps, other wargaming ranges, art, absolutely anything, whatever it is post pictures and info here and show off your collections! So to start off... We have the Avengers! I'm missing Black Widow, darn tricky to get ahold of at the moment Click to: Show And to face off against them, Loki! Moving onto the DC superheroes... And villains! Next on my want list are Poison Ivy and Mr Freeze. And the Riddler, if a minifig is ever made. Something for the Final Fantasy fans out there.... And though not Lego... An assortment of Doctor Who villains My Cyber Legion, with two Cyber Leader variants Skittles Daleks! Just missing the Scientist (orange) and the Strategist (blue) The greatest ship in the universe... All eleven incarnations of the Doctor And last but not least, the tardis interior of Series 5-7 with the Ponds and River Song! So there we have it. It may not look like much, but so far this has cost me quite a few pennies.. Looking back on it perhaps I should've named this thread "What are your vices?".... |

I collect postcards. Some of them were given to me, but the majority of my collection is from places I've visited (which is why I began collecting them in the first place). The collection currently stands at 61 postcards, simply held together with a large rubber band. The number isn't as impressive as it sounds--a heck of a lot of them are from the same place or were gifts. I don't have any particular favorites, and none of the postcards really stand out as exceptionally visually stunning, but here are a few pics. This one began the collection, given to me by my pops after a business trip to Chicago. Unfortunately, I've never been to the city: Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Miami, Florida. Easily the nicest place I've ever been. I'm not doing myself any favors with my traveling credentials by admitting that the British West Indies postcard underneath was given to me by my mom. Sadly, I've never been out of the states. This postcard inspired a rather crappy oil painting: Here is the most recent postcard in my collection: As part of a college colloquium on the portrayal of American Indians in Texas history, we visited a local museum and this historical fort. |

Thought I'd pop in here to say that I collect Top Trumps: Also, I collect books. You might not call that a collection, but i actually have a backlog of about 60 books to read. I buy books like some people by miniatures. Thus it counts. Here is my evidence: Anyway, there you go. |

Tons of books scattered around my entire house, plus Lego also scattered around my room (it's okay though, I'm trying to give it all to my little brother to make it look less childish for my reputation). I still have a large collection of the old LotR action figures too. I'd take pictures, but it's too much for my camera to handle (and I can't find my camera at the moment). |

Wait, books count? I've got far too many of them, and yet not enough... Books are the greatest invention of mankind. |

Alas I do have much of a "big" collection of anything but I'm a avid fan of Halo, I did love Lego's and still do, I just don't purchase them, am an avid reader, and do love WW2 memorabilia since it's my favorite time in history. So I don't know how any of that counts besides I like/love a lot of what you guys like. |

I used to have a Star Wars collection to rival IsleStaghorn's LOTR collection. I had over 300 books, the FX light sabers, over 100 figs, legos, posters etc. But I sold almost all of it. The thing I miss the most was my limited edition Revan. I had 2 but I needed the cash so I had to dump them |

I still have a ton of Star Wars, Gi joe, and many other Action Figures. I occasionally sell some off, I would sell all of it but it is a pain to search the many, many, boxes to find al the parts and weapons and cards etc. just to sell it for the best price (most collectables sell at a loss at best). I gave up collecting Star Wars about the same time Lucas decided to sell to Disney. I saw it as a nice line in the sand and called it quits too. I still look at what they are making, but most is rerelease or resculpts of things I have very good versions of already, and the new stuff is stuff so obscure that even I sometimes don't know it. GI joe just messed up, they went really bad for several years but ten made some really good stuff again, then blew it. I have not seen anything outside of the collectors club worth dropping cash for. So I have a nice collection but a lost of it I can part with easy once I have time to do so. I still am collecting Marvel Universe even though it switched to the black box Infinates this year to go along with Legends (I am glad they dropped the assemble idea as the current assemble line blows). But, a very few variants, and Con exclusives aside, I have the entire line (only the alpha flight couple have eluded me, I will eventually snag on ebay or a convention). The newest wave I only got Grim Reaper so far but the line has not been distributed to Targets or Walmarts yet (probably because of the contracts and Walmart wants the cheap non-articulated toys, eww). |

The Panzerfaust was a one-shot throw away weapon. BAZ00KAs are reuseable and not just for Christmas |
