So I figured that I didn't really know a lot of the users on here very well yet, and I'm sure there are other people in the same boat.

So in this thread, post five facts about yourself so that we can all get to know each other a little better :)

1. I really love Chinese food, so much that I'm pretty damned good at cooking it fresh from scratch
2. I'm currently playing Skyrim, the Ratchet & Clank HD Trilogy, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
3. I have a BA Hons in English Literature
4. I love socks. Fluffy socks, stripey socks, socks are awesome.
5. We have a bunny rabbit called Rory.

1.I have 2 boa constrictor snakes named Alissa and [word deleted]
2.I can't even boil an egg :D
3.I have tattoos covering 50% of my body (give or take)
4.I read the Lord of the Rings once a year and have done for around 10 years(which reminds me must dig it out again)
5.My favourite food is curry (with lots of beer preferably)

Not too interesting but there you go 5 facts about me :P

I agree, this looks like good fun.

1. I love animals, so much so that I treat my chickens as pets and stroke them (and I have a duck)
2. I'm completely nuts about anything medieval as it's so interesting
3. I'm currently playing Skyrim, Men of War and World of Tanks
4. I'm about to start university in 2 weeks to do a BA Hons in Modelmaking at the other end of the country
5. I love the countryside and nature

Fun
1: I'm playing lotr: war in the north, rise of the witch king and halo rach at the moment
2: I've never ever (until last saturday :'( ) lost a game of lotr sbg
3: I've got some fishes, but when I care for them, they usually end up dead( either in my belly or because I'm terrible at keeping fishes alive)
4: I've watched each of the 3 lord of the rings movies more than 30 times
5: I'm a fantasy writer myself too

1) Been a firefighter for over six years
2) Play American Football, Wide Receiver number 80 for Hampshire Thrashers
3) Am a descendant of a Titanic Survivor
4) Also collect vintage Star Wars memorabilia
5) Have traced my family tree back to the early 1700's

Oh, and my wife has more tattoos than I do. She has one.

I am a retired inter city Police Office- 28 years
I like to organize Game conventions and I am active in lots of clubs.
I build table top terrain and make jewelry and toys with the foster children. Gem and mineral club too.
I like Sci Fi and fantasy movies and books and historical reference books and the Military history channel.

1) I love camping, especially canoe tripping, just got back from one
2) I have a BA in Anthropology, which turned out to be so useful I've been a software developer for 20 years
3) I make a wicked spicy chicken and black bean hummus wrap
4) Coffee makes my eyes bug out and my hair stand on end, but I love the smell and flavour so I have to settle for decaf
5) I have two teenage kids and they're the joy of my life

1) I don't really play any video games. I've always sucked at any other game in my life except for FIFA.
2) I've lived and studied in three different countries: Philippines, Australia, USA. I'm still finishing high school in the USA.
3) Don't think this really counts but, I still have a lot of stuff over in the Philippines that I'm trying to get brought here. It includes a Wood Elf Captain, Banner Bearer and either 12 or 24 regular Wood Elves. And also a lot of old paint.
4) Some of my other hobbies/interests include playing football, the Marvel and DC Universe, watching YouTube videos (might make my own channel once I graduate), playing the saxophone, listening to music, and reading magazines like Rolling Stone, GQ, and Men's Health.
5) I aspire to be a doctor, director, or sports analyst one day.

So yeah, that's me 8)

1) I am mostly a lurker
2) I have played Miniatures games since D&D in '77
3) I have played LOTR SBG since it came out
4) My friends call me the Dark Lord due to my infinity for the forces of Goodness that reside in Mordor
5) I like to run large scale LOTR SBG scenarios - my largest was Battle of Pellenor fields with 960+ minis

Right now I am readying a Con game for Raleigh NC in October pitting Dark Dwarves and Dark Elves in the Underdark using LOTR SBG and Dwarven Forge (at Southern Front).

1) Commodore 64 determined what I became, what I do for living, where I live and who my friends are
2) I have the same symbol as my avatar picture and tattooed on my shoulder, it was originally a Viking-age brooch found near my parents' house
3) My apartment has a sauna with two stoves (electric and wood) in it
4) I try to create something every day
5) My tabletop role-playing game campaigns usually last about five years

1) At college I studied philosophy and history.
2) I work in a model railway shop.
3) I love animals - I have 2 cats (Smudge & Kensi) and a dog (Ruby)
4) I'm currently hooked to Fallout: New Vegas again, along with the XBLA The Walking Dead games.
5) I've been collecting/playing LOTR SBG since The Two Towers. I still fondly remember opening Christmas presents and finding the Fellowship of the Ring box set. Happy days :)

1- I have two cats treacle toffee (biter) and christmas chimes (birmans) :)
2- I haven't worked in just under a year. :(
3- I absolutly cannot wait for Halo 4 in Nov (xbox live) 8)
4- I am very popular with the ladies lol. :oops:
5- I have nobody to play LOTRSBG with so im just collecting atm. :sad:

Wheee :D Glad this thread is a hit so far. Here's another five :P

1. One of my favourite TV shows is Fringe.
2. I'm a registered Archer for the Yorkshire Company. I really wanna get back into it, but it's quite an expensive hobby!
3. Speaking of expensive hobbies, I have no idea how I afford to collect LotR, as I buy so many shoes :D
4. I've just bought Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss to read, on recommendation from a load of nagging friends.
5. I have a Gold replica of the One Ring.

1. I'm studying to get my master in mechanical engineering in Greece and in my free time I take part in a formula student project
2. I love motorcycles and I own a Husqvarna 630 Sm
3. Wanted to be a pilot (and still do), but my eyes weren't up to the task..
4. Been a gamer since I was 8, with loads of hours spent on Heroes of Might and Magic III, Red alert, Icewind Dale, up to WoW, but I struggle to find any time nowadays..
5. I'm 22 and I still live in my parents house (and I'm staying there for at least a couple of years more) :sad:

1. I am still in public school, just started 8th grade.
2. I LOVE fantasy <3! I just started writing a fantasy novel (I don't know how long it's gonna be).
3. I am very slowling designing a LotR RPG.

1. I only ever play LotR with Evil models. And I've been waiting years for werewolves and finally had to make my own.
2. I fairly recently became a fan of George R R Martin and Terry Brooks fantasy writings.
3. I am writing my own fantasy novel, but i'm in early days again, because I decide I didn't like the one I started when i was 13 (6 years ago) any more, so I had to start again, and I've submitted the prologue for a creative writing assignment in my first year of uni
4.I have never left the Uk, I only ever go on holidays in England and Wales
5. I am an athiest and I really like the Flying Spagetti monster analogy, which I once used as an excuse to put the phone down when we were called by a call centre.
