Hi guys... Old mates will remember the every day freak... Well you will have watched I have been missing months now... I had been fighting myself... Please administrators don't delete this one or at least lock it... I gave up Lotr
And now everyone goes    and they think" Wasn't he the one who was always saying you can't escape lotr...?"
Yes... But i understood it has no meaning... I sent so much money on miniatures... expensive ones... I am not taking them with me when I die...
And more improtantly this money could go to poor people for food or clothes etc.
For example Wah Wing will go help at Russia....
I want you to think what is important in life... Don't hear me or hear me, i want just to say that their is One who gave His life for us...
Anyway use the money to help other people... Spread faith,hope,love...
I am happy I met all of you and especially Gothmog the Werewolf and Dead Marshes spectre...
Goodbye from an old friend :) I hope He guides you all...

Wow thats a big step Hilbert , to give up Lotr altogether. This must mean a lot to you indeed. I wish you every success in your future endevours, it is a very honourable thing you are doing.

The One Ring and its members are actively doing somrthing at the moment to help others. As you can see we are pink at the moment. We are collecting for the Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer charity via the Donate button which you can find at the bottom of the screen. Almost raised £100.00 for the cause so far..... not bad for a bunch of wargamers huh?

Good luck Hilbert may you succeed in your quest.

Hi Hilbert,s o sorry that your'e leaving, speaking to you was one of the highlights of this site form me. I enjoyed your company. Quite shocking your quitting.

I hope you are happy with what you are doing else and I wish you all the luck 8)

I highly respect people who give money to charity, even if I don't always agree with the reasons behind it. I wish I was capable of doing as you are in as complete a fashoin as you are.

Farewall my friend :dmf:

We had some good times and I enjoyed your company best of all...
Good luck in your life and take care...
Well as you write charity is mostly the reason and not the size of it as you wrote... Do whatever you can... Well not farewell but good reunion I wish in the other world(or maybe in this as you never knew)...

Farewell indeed. You have been a very pleasant presence here on the forums. I hope your new focus doesn't take you away from here fully and you have a chance to say hi now and then.

I’m sure you understand your announcement brings mixed feelings. On one hand it is wonderful to see someone commit so fully to their beliefs, but it brings with it a sense of loss (probably more of our own projected feelings), and hope that you find true fulfillment. I have always been one to give of my time and financial resources to faith and a couple causes very close to my heart and believe in the balance I have found, but find totally commitment such as your 'scary' and inspiring at the same time. I am encouraged by your choice from the example of another friend I have that also committed himself fully to his faith many years ago and hope your path is as fulfilling for you as well.

So uhhhh, is it uncouth to ask what you're doing with your miniatures? :-) We'll miss your contributions. Good luck with all future endeavors.

Have a good one Hilbert. My advice is don't sell everything for a year and if by then your still not interested... go ahead and unload. I've had a friend do this but he sold/burned everything he had but he's back now. God wants us to be happy too and they're ways to have a hobby without spending loads of money.

Once again, good luck to you. (I blame GW raising prices for this... hahaha)

One could make an argument saying that buying miniatures is good for the economy ergo gives the country you live in more economic power ergo more resources to send life support and aid where needed.

Anyways, good luck on future endeavors. ^^

@ To you also Dagorlad
@ Slythar I won't burnanything don't worry... Most are packed and some are on one of the selves made a little near to a diorama. Well as they say in my country the high prise was the cherry on the pie... But it wasn't the main reason... Let's just say it was an occasion... It's not bad having a hobby...
@ Amarthadan
Well if you expect my country's economy( I live in Greece) to be saved by that... Anyway it's a good point but let it be... Good luck to you my friend...
