I stumbled over this the other day: http://silmarillionproject.tumblr.com/

I find it lovely and I really likes his aproach to the Silmarillion. And ofcourse it is very different from previous incarnations which I find nice. Well I should stop writing...go check the project! 8)

NOTE! It is not my project. I just thought I should share it with you.

I really love it. I don't especially like this style of "cute" animation, and while the sketches are not my kind of thing, the actual chapter illustrations themselves are really great. Excellent colour choices and composition.

Quite nice.
Wouldn't kill anyone to depict a woman in comic/fantasy with non supermodel proportions every now and then, but that's another thread.

Interesting images - though there is a bit of Sinister Disney about some of them.
