Do you guys remember that plastic One Ring that came with the old Mines of Moria starter set? I just wonder if anyone has done anything creative with it rather than just paint it gold? |

I got that thing lying around somewhere but didn't get it from the MoM set though. I think it also appears on some sprues. |

I painted it in slightly angry colours faintly reminiscent of the eye of Sauron, representing his present will. I mounted it on a base and use it as a marker to show that the ring bearer has the ring on. |

Hmm I might have to steal that idea. |

I like how you painted the ring and mounted it on a base. Its painted well too, not just a gold layer. |

I enjoyed mine as a priority marker and also used it as an objective in some special scenarios, but sadly it vanished on me long ago. I keep expecting to hear a little voice coming up from the basement of our game store... "We have the precioussss....yesssss....it came back to usssss...." |
