I've found an unopened box for the Mines of Moria/EFGT-like set for the Return of the King game. What's included in the set? It looks like it be good to expand my growing horde of Mordor and to get some Gondorian allies for my Arnor. |

24 minas tirith warriors, and 24 mordor orcs, aswell as a small amount of terrain and an outdated rulebook |

What does the terrain look like? Do you have pictures? |

Is it the same terrain that was sold separately as a terrain box? If so then it will be one statue (many great uses) and some broken wall sections. The rule book is way outdated. Not just by Hobbit SBG standards but it was the version that was in use before the OneRing version of the rules were released. Just as Hobbit SBG is *mostly* the same as OneRing SBG but with some important differences, OneRing SBG is *mostly* the same as RotK style rules but with important differences. I wouldn't suggest you use the book as a rule reference at all. Maybe a curiosity to see how some rules have evolved or perhaps there are other things in there of value (painting, terrain, scenarios, etc.). The best would be to consider if the cost of the two sets of warriors is reasonable on it's own, not including the terrain (which is good but usually minimal in amount) or book (outdated by two generations of rules). |

I happen to have the original Fellowship of the Ring rulebook. The lack and blue one. The new rules for spears are actually quite like the ones in that book. It's a quite entertaining read. |

The terrain is a piece or two from the ruins of middle earth set. |

It's the equivalent of four boxes of troops, as they are now. If it's anything less than you'd pay for those I'd grab it. |

Oh yeah, it's much cheaper! 99 dollars vs 74-ish. Plus terrain, plus an outdated rulebook that would be a good read. I'm getting it. |
