Post subject:  Unpainted Heroes, How do I sell them?

I recently was clearing through my room and came across a large box full of a selection of unpainted Heroes and a few other bits, I'm looking to sell them but I don't know what would be the best way, I was thinking ebay but didn't think it would get enough attention.

All are unpainted except where stated.
All are die cast metal except where stated.

Here is a list of the most sensible groupings I came up with:

Helms Deep Heroes – Theoden
Gamling
Hama
Eowyn
Uruk-Hai Beserker

King Aragorn – Mounted King Aragorn
Faramir Minas Tirith Armour
Denethor
Minas Tirith Knight (mounted on plastic horse)

Orc Command- Gothmog
Two Orc Captains
Orc Standard Bearer

High Elves - Galadriel
Haldir with Bow

Kings of Old - Isildur
Elendil
Gil-Galad

Hobbits - Frodo (with ring)
Sam
Merry
Pippin
Gollum (with fish on rock)

Mounted Rescue – Mounted Aragorn (BLACK PRIMED)
Mounted Legolas and Gimli (BLACK PRIMED)

Cirith Ungol – Gorbag
Shagrat (holding Mithril vest)

Bilbo Baggins

Gandalf the White

Grima Wormtongue

Aragorn

Boromir

Mounted Rohan Sodier with Spear NO HORSE (can include horse with broken leg if requested)

Mountain Troll

Catapult with three orc operators and one troll

Two Warg Riders

Uruk-Hai Battering Ram PAINTED

Large Crossbow with two operators

I want to sell them but I don't know how to as I haven't been involved in any miniature stuff in around 5-6 years

Any help is appreciated

Cheers

As a heads up, the website doesn't allow cash transactions. You can trade them using the Trading Post, but you can't sell. Sorry.

Thanks, I have edited the post accordingly

Since eBay appears to have not been your friend, I would recommend trying to find some generic wargaming websites to post them on and try any other forums that you frequent as, although it may be say Brettonians, people there may still play or want the models for LotR/WotR. Stating where you're situated and prepared to post to is also a bonus ;)

Ebay is your friend mate. Largest auction site on the web, you're sure to attract attention especially with a low starting bid. If you've had no luck there before your starting bid/buy it now was probably too high 8)

I haven't actually tried ebay yet, I only found them today, and thought this site would attract more attention than ebay.

After putting them on ebay would it be ok to post links on these forums?

I'm not a mod, so I can't say for sure, but I'd imagine that there's no harm posting a link in this thread (or make one in the "My Website" sub-forum) to your selling page...

If I'm wrong, I apologise.

I don't think there'd be a problem with that, I've posted links of my Ebay auctions before :)

eBay is probably the easiest way and sure you can post a link to your deals. No problem in there. But if you want to sell stuff it needs to be through eBay or some other site other than this one.

We do, however, have a trading forum if you are interested in just exchange your minis for other minis.

I've traded here, you'll find it a rewarding experience.
