I fully agree. Though the text on that banner is not nearly rude enough to describe my hate of those sculpts...

I second that. The Monkey Twins truly are the most abominable pieces of poo I'ver ever seen coming out of GW's sculpting studio (besides Fantasy Nagash... but that's another story)!

What I'd like to see and would actually be willing to shell out quite a bit of money for is:

- Plastic Rohan Royal Guard foot and mounted (WITH LANCES!). Also lance versions for Riders of Rohan and all Rohan heroes. Come on already, it's their signature weapon! :-X
Models for Elfhelm, Grimbold (the REAL Grimbold, not the Gamling we have now). Y'know what I mean... ;)

- As has been said before, a High Elf box where the useless Numenoreans are replaced by HE spear-/swordsmen /w shields. Multipart if possible.

Also:
- Húrin, Warden of the Keys
- Forlong on a big fat Clydesdale :D
- Thorongil version of Aragorn for both Rohan and Gondor
- Thengel
- Ecthelion
- Helm, Freca, and Wulf
- Cirion the Steward
- Human version of the Mouth of Sauron on "daemonic steed", like in the book, not the other way round like in the movie
- the Kin-strife: Castamir, Eldacar, etc.
- Nanduhirion: Thrór, Thráin, Azog, Náin, young Thorin with Oak bough
- plastic Giant Eagles

Just to clarify, while PJ did not include the twins in the films, they were memorable characters in the books and had that fey elegance and deadliness which was amalgamated into the persona of the film Legolas. And he uses some of their lines in the films. Well, PJ felt he couldn't fit everything in BUT that was no excuse for GW fobbing the world off with half-elf-half-funky-gibbons. I always imagined them more like the armoured versions (that was GW redeeming themselves a bit).

What terrifies me now is whether the Hobbit minis will be of a high standard. Time for GW to show their quality. Please don't let us down guys. You are capable of great things.
