Bought the Laketown Militia Captain and the swordsman sets today - thought I would share on how they look.

The Captain - has some fish to add to his base or to a diorama, nice fish detail on his shield



The militia swordsmen - still undecided on chainmail and a wicker shield.

Somewhat disappointed now that the Milita Captain cannot in fact be equipped with the fish in his rules. Nice touch though.

Although other combinations don't seem to fit too well, it's interesting that those Militia parts could be swapped. Perhaps torsos/legs from the archers/spearmen could work with some of these for some variety. Hadn't noticed there's another left-handed guy in there, don't normally see many of those (Théoden being the most prominent exception).

Certainly look like good sculpts and castings, should be nice figures to paint up.
