Post subject:  Massive Osgiliath Scenario

Making this scenario. NazgĂșl have maced mwf. Thoughts? Boromir will not be used for this scenario, but I included him to reference when I make others. I love Osgiliath!
Scenarios
Crossing of the Anduin
Objectives-The evil forces must take control of the Gondorian side while under cover fire from the Catapults. Should Gondorian forces manage to take out all 3 catapults, and manage to destroy the bridge, the good player wins. The evil player must push the good player from Osgiliath and claim victory by removing the Banner of Minas Tirith, and ousting any remaining forces from Osgiliath. Should the Witch King be slain, but the evil side meets all necessary victory conditions, the game is a draw.
Special Rules
Lower the Bridge
The bridge will not drop down until Gondor is occupied at the beach. At least 15 evil models must be present at the beach in order for the bridge to drop. Evil war-bands 3,8 and 9 will cross on boats. All others will set up on the bridge or Mordor shore.

Clamor of Battle
As the battle rages, more and more will he drawn to the battle. Use the table below for each slain warrior. Roll a D6. If you get equal to or higher than the number, they arrive.
Evil warrior-3
Good warrior-4
Evil unnamed hero-4
Good unnamed hero-5
They will spawn on their board edge, and must be at least 8 inches from the nearest enemy. Should no available areas be present, remove this model as a permanent casualty. You cannot opt to not roll for arrival. Arriving models may not charge or shoot on a turn they arrive, nor may they declare any heroic actions.

This the kind of game I like to play. Lots of minis and thematic. I have run two good size Isgiliath games:

Oh, as for catapults and such, I will make my own with foam core, as they are mot hard from the looks of it. If anyone has measurements for base sizes, hights, etc for battlecry trebuchets and Mirdor War Catapults, though, it would be appreciated...

I'm making my own trebuchets and catapults. You can find instructions on building your own in an issue of BGiME, check the listing under the Magazines forum. These are great magazines and worth tracking down on the secondary market to own. You can also buy a trebuchet kit from thormarillion.de. I've dealt with him and he is a wonderful businessman. He probably has wheels for your wagons and catapults too.

And if you want to trade for those lovely Hirst Arts bricks, I'm your woman.

Adjusted the scenario...
Also, no evil models should be left on the Gondorian side for the Gondorian side to win.
Special Rules

Lower the Bridge
The bridge will not drop down until Gondor is occupied at the beach. At least 15 evil models must be present at the beach in order for the bridge to drop. Evil war-bands 3,8 and 9 will cross on boats. All others will set up on the bridge or the Mordor shore.

Destroy the bridge
Alternatively, a catapult may fire on it, needing a 6 to destroy the stone bridge. The wooden causeway can always be replaced. The bridge has 6 batter points.

Permanent casualties may not roll to come to the battle again.

The ruined city
Catapults will destroy a wall or building on a 4 or higher. Walls are treated as being defense 10.

I made some from Hirst Arts, some from the GW kits, some from Ziterdes, some repaints of Gale Force 9, and the old GW Minas Tirith walls.
