Put my newly painted guys to work in a fun game, used some goblin town pieces and rocks to make a mountain pass. Check it out on my blog if you like, didn't have much success posting pictures here.

Great blog, also love the colour scheme you went with for your Elves & Gondor, very striking. I struggle with my battle reports because by time I get chance to write them it's usually a week later. :rofl:

Thanks I got the idea for the gondor guts with red from the war of the ring book, really liked how that army looked.

Ya I think you are right about the trolls, still building up armies so just using what I have painted last hah. I got Bill Bert and Tom painted this weekend so won't suffer from lack of trolls in the next game!

Thanks;
Mike

I really like how the board was set up. Kudos on recycling the goblin town terrain into something that makes for a great narrative.

Nice!

I have thought about the goblin town scenery also being useful for the kind of rickety scaffolding you might find in Isengard or in other areas where orcs and their kind of squatting.
