Hi guys

The fun continues in Goblin Town as Ori, Nori and Dori try to uncover their stolen provisions.

I managed to edit this one down into two ~12mins vids. Enjoy!

This was a brutal mission! I'd really like to try this again and instead of focusing on the platforms I'd make a bee-line straight for that damned scribe!

Also I should have kept the dwarves in close formation as being surrounded was their downfall. Certainly a tricky one!

Me and the kid brother played this one the other night. Original got eliminated pretty much from the offset. I was goblins. Managed to divert the other two dwarves into the wrong platform. Dori held out but nori was pushing daisies before too long. We came to the same conclusion as you

Certainly a tricky scenario!

1) At the 10 minute mark, Dori should have just taken normal strikes. I’ll just post this particular quote from another thread:

I beleive they have a choice to either be trapped, or take normal strikes plus falling damage? Or was that changed in the hobbit rules?

p39 of the Hobbit rules, the Loser Backs Away section: "However, a loser at the edge of a vertical drop, with nowhere else to Back Away to, must move off the edge. If the drop is equal to or less than the model's height, he suffers no damage. If the drop is greater than the height of the model, then the model suffers falling damage (pg 28)".

There is no clarifying paragraph in the Trapped section, so they are not "trapped" by a cliff, they just take normal strikes and falling damage (if applicable).

Not sure if it was different before, and the OR book is no longer handy :)

2) The goblins (7:55) below the platform could have “charged” Dori as well. More details about elevated positions are on page 45.

Very entertaining as always, can't wait for more!

Feel free to state if my nitpicking is welcoming or unwelcoming. I certainly don't want to provide feedback if the gaming portion for you remains as a casual component/don't want to get bogged down by details hehe.

Great report,
it's a hard senario, i probaply should try to take out the scribe with ori, and maybe somebody else with him.

Very welcome indeed! I'm still new so any help on the rules is great.
