Once again the missus was enlisted and we delved back into the dank, depths of Goblin Town.

This time Bifur, Bofur and Bombur attempt to recover the Dwarves' stolen baggage. Not only a never-ending horde of Goblins stands in their way but also a death-defying leap!

Another highly entertaining report!

Bombur was begging to be trapped around the 14:00 minute mark or so. It’s too bad she left the handful of goblins on that walkway to cheer and sing songs for the majority of the game :P

You brought up an interesting notion early on. As you stated, Heroic move was introduced in a later scenario. Are the scenarios created in fashion where game balance requires simplified rules or is it perfectly okay to go back to previous scenarios and play with all the Hobbit rules once you've mastered them?

I’m assuming it’s the former. I was just wondering if it specified in the EFGT scenario book.

She says she knew but she felt sorry for him :)

I think it does say after all the special rules have been introduced to try the scenarios with more Goblins to up the difficulty for the good player.

I found this to be the most challenging of the scenarios in the EfGT booklet for the Good player ... There isn't a powerhouse in the dwarf force for this one, and the goblins just kept blocking the path and the jump, slowly wearing down the dwarves when I played it.
