I didn't think you could support models that had a larger base than you but having just read the entire FAQ and the rulebook I cannot see anything regarding it...I swear they had changed that  anyway, nice battle report and congrats on the win. It was a fun 2 days. |

Yeah, they changed it in the new rules it appears (I only found out during the games!). Now a Goblin spearman can support a Dragon or even a Mumak, I guess? Supported Marauders are cool

Another enjoyable read. Glad to see you explain why you used the Marauders and how they were able to bring you success. I've always written them off as too expensive but then again I don't play Moria. Nice to see plenty of pictures too, really did look like a great event wish I could have attended. I too only realised recently that you can back up models on larger bases. It seems kind of stupid but that 4th attack on a Troll etc. can make all the difference if you have a spare spearman near by. |
