Yes, it is. We nave National League with few hundreds active players and more than 100 tournaments per year. This edition of Polish Team Championship was tiny comparing to last two years (80 players vs 136 in 2011 & 2010) - it's becaue of lack of new rules/models. I'm pretty sure that Hobbit will bring many new players.

One thing I noticed...an observation, not criticism...is there seems to be a distinct lack of terrain. A few big pieces and lots of open space. It's a matter of gaming style, but I think it affects army creation and the expectation of which tactics can be used. We tend to play with a lot more "small bits", which means we rarely have a line more than 6-8 models wide. And forget all-cavalry, I tried that last week and got creamed because of bottlenecks.
