Hi guys,

I'm anxiously awaiting the holidays for the hobbit starter set. In the meantime, I was wondering, what are the scenarios like, and are they fun to play? :)

Thanks,

Just a man being more curious than he probably should be. :P

I got mine in Saturday and immediately started a battle on Sunday. The models were still unpainted and we used paper strips as extra walkways, but it was awesome. It's really cool to use the dwarfs together as their abilities compliment each other. The power attacks are also amazing (killing bomber and Nori in one turn).

so yes, it was fun and learned allot. 8)

I got mine today, so very excited. Haven't even got a chance to glue it and sadly won't until the weekend but I really want to play, so will be playing with un-basecoated models and using paper strips for the extra walkways just like the above poster. I like that the scenarios break down the dwarves into smaller groups though, so you can learn their powers bit by bit then combine them in a bigger scenario. The Radagast scenarios are exciting, might have to play with old one for now until the good (IMO) sculpt comes out in Feb.
