Good afternoon everyone, just wanted to post a link to my latest battle report. We played the "To Kill a King" scenario from the LoME book (although adapted slightly for warbands). As usual, it's always a good day to get minis out on the table of battle. I think the dice were in my favor for this one, just by the results of most of the melee combats that took place, I figure I won more than I should have. Anyway, hope you enjoy :)

An epic battle indeed. And indeed the dice seemed to be in your favor(when you got into melee combats :P)

Apart from the cinematic epicness(having the leader on mount) was there any other reason you decided to spend 10-20 points for mounting elendil and isildur?

Why did he take The Betrayer?

There were a few reasons I gave Elendil and Isildur horses. I liked the idea of a four attack hero (on the charge, at least), I felt it granted them some more potential durability, and I wanted to see my mounted Elendil conversion in action :)

As for The Betrayer, I believe he was taken because we haven't really used Nazgul too much yet, and new is always fun :) Also, he was there to help augment the poison rules of the rest of the Haradrim.
