Here's another batrep for the LoTR throne of skulls thing:

Turn 1
Both the models move towards each other as Pippin yells insults at Gandalf. Gandalf tries to cast a blinding light but rolls a measly one
Turn 2
Gandalf manages to cast blinding light while Pippin moves closer. Gandalf goes into covert mode and decides to climb up a well shaft through the old mine:
Turn 3
Pippin loses priority and Gandalf takes the initiative by moving into a good spot and then sorcerous blasting pippin on a 4. Pippin is so hobbity that he manages to resist the powerful wizard on a 5. In an act of defiance Pippin throws a rock and, on the precotious rolls of a double six, wounds the wizard! Only a point of fate prevented a rock shaped dint in Gandalf forehead.
Turn 4
Gandalf wins priority and gets his revenge by bowing Pippin back an inch with a well aimed sorcerous blast. Pippin wasn't wounded but he cant throw a stone because he's already been moved.
Turn 5
Pippin wins priority and get up. Gandalf the mean instantly knocks him down again with another scorcerous blast. This time Gandalf rolls a 2 to wound but knocks it up to 3 with some might. Pippin has no fate left and gets fried by the wizards magic: pippin is dead!
I never thought that a 10 point model could last that long against Gandalf the white
. Overall I was very impressed with pippin and it was a very fun (yet inevitable) game to losePippin, rockthrower of the west:
