Well, as requested here's the biggest dwarf vs goblin army I can muster under the new rules (I need more captains). 1425 points of dwarven tenacity vs 1400 points of vicious goblins... Oh yeah, and a balrog =) Full write-up with pics on the blog, but it's a long one so might wanna get a cuppa first: http://simbattleboard.blogspot.com.au/2012/04/battle-report-take-hill-dwarves-vs.html Don't forget, as with most blogs, you can get a bigger pic by clicking on the thumbnail! |

The shields of the vault wardens are very nicely paint. How are the Dwarves blown down by the gust? Aren't they extra fat? Are you using the profile of Gwahir for your eagle? |

Thanks guys =) Constantine wrote: The shields of the vault wardens are very nicely paint. How are the Dwarves blown down by the gust? Aren't they extra fat? Are you using the profile of Gwahir for your eagle? lol, it's not fat, it's pure muscle =) Yup, using Gwahir for the eagle, Balin for Etako, Boggle is a shieldbearer and Gimli for Brynmor. The other named characters are kings on the dwarf side and captains on the goblin side. You'll see them introduced a bit at a time through the rest of the blog, though I should go back and label the posts to make it easier! |
