Well after watching through the second and third film again, this time the extended versions i came up with this little scenario.

Firstly you will need 2 Good players, one to take the role of Legolas and the other to take the role of Gimli.
Next you will need a player to command the Evil forces.
The Evil forces will consist of a series of reappearing models that when they die they will re-enter the board from any board edge the Evil player sees fit.
The object of the game is for either Good player to achieve a higher score than the other at the end of so many turns, or for one player to reach a set score first.
The two Good models have unlimited wounds but they will be penalized for each wound they take, they have their usual Might, Will and Fate and once used it doesn't come back.

The scoring is done like this:
+1 point for each Warrior killed
+2 points for each Hero wounded
+3 points for each Hero killed
-2 points for each Wound taken

Try to set a limit for the models to reach or a turn to end on then tot up the scores. Also the points stack, so if a model causes 2 Wounds to a 2 Wound Hero they will get 5 points, 2 for the first wound and 3 for killing them by taking the second wound. Finally it is possible that one Good Hero wounds an enemy Hero only for the other Good Hero to kill them off at a later point and get an easy 3 points.

As for picking the enemy force choose around 150pts to be on the table at any one time, like an Orc Captain with shield and then 17-18 Orc Warriors with various weapons. Remember that when a model is slain they re-enter the board in the following turn from any board egde, however they may be armed with a different weapon should the Evil player wish them to be.

As a final note, this scenario doesn't have to be between Legolas and Gimli, why not pit Strider against Boromir CotWT or Elladan against Elrohir (ignoring the Unbreakable Bond of course) or even pit 3 Heroes against 3 other Heroes, just make sure the points values are equal or near enough for the two Good players to agree on.

Well i forgot to add doesn't have to just be Good Heroes, could always pit a Hasharin against a Easterling Dragon Knight in a beating people up contest.

Well i was planning pitting Shagrat against Gorbag in this contest (obviously giving Gorbag a shield for a bit more of a chance, maybe even an extra point of Might to make it a bit fairer).

However like i say the suggestions are endless, though first person to pit a Mumak against a Dragon in a crushing Warriors contest has my backing :P

EDIT: What is the Morgul Crown?

Well i have found out that said Crown costs the same as Samwise Gamgee.

But as for the scenario it is really open to the players choice, it is just the basics you have to keep to. I mean in one test i pit 3 similar Heroes with 3 seperate players and we ended up with a close match, but it was a great laugh.

You should add something about monsters; they are usually counted as warriors, but they are harder to kill. Maybe something like +1 for a wound and +2 for kill, or if you think that's too much, how about just +2 or +3 for killing?
