My Harad/Pelargir War is based on the border between Harad and Gondor. It consists of 5 scenarios each getting bigger and better every time. You can play them as individual battles or as a campaign as suggested. ENJOY!!!

Scenario 1: The Might Of Pelargir

The soldiers of Pelargir have launched and attack on Ashar's Camp in north Harad. A victory to Gondor would lead to a massive delay in the Haradrim reinforcement to osgiliath where there alot of there soldiers need help imediateley. The Haradrim, caught unaware, must fight there way out of an ambush to regroup further south.

Participants:

Ashar, hasharin (Rules can be found under house rules and gaming tactics here on One Ring)
1 Haradrim warrior with banner
12 haradrim with spears
12 haradrim with bows

Faramir, with bow
damrod
8 warriors of minas tirith with shield
8 warriors of minas tirith with spear and shield
4 rangers of gondor with bow
1 warrior of minas tirith with banner
4 warriors of pelargir with shield (Warriors of Numenor profile)

Objectives:

Good - reduce the evil side to 50% of its starting numbers
Evil - reduce the good side to 50% of its starting numbers

If both sides complete their objectives in the same turn, the game is a draw.

All C&C about this scenario welcome....

How about giving the map size, layout and starting positions?

I will let the players decide on a map sixe although i suggest 4' x 4'.

As for starting positions, All evil models are deployed within 6" of the centre of the board. All good models are placed within 6" of any board edge. However, there must be at least 6 models on each edge and the extra models can be added to each edge.

You beat me to it corsair! Argh! I'm currently writing scenarios in a linked campaign for the Defence of the Gondor :)

Your scenario seems fairly balanced, have you play-tested it yet?

No i haven't yet.

Please let me know though if anyone play tests this scenario as I would very much like som feedback about it.

Let me know if you think the sides are unbalanced.

Scenario 2: The Nazgul come!

After the Gondorians fought the haradrim invaders, the legions of the south called for reinforcements. 2 days later, They strike again...

Participants:

Good:
Survivors from game 1*
6 knights of Minas Tirith with sheids
6 rangers of Gondor

Evil:
Survivors from game 1*
2 ringwraiths on dark steeds - No extra stats
6 haradrim with bows

*The heroes (Faramir, Damrod & Ashar) may still be used in this game even if they were slain in scenario 1). All heroes gain back all MWF for this scenario.

Layout: Board size 4' x 4'

starting positions: The Good side deploys his troops with 6" of the centre of the board except for the knights. The knights are placed on the northern edge. the evil side is then deployed on the southern edge.

Objectives: The good side must defeat BOTH of the Nazgul. The evil side must Defeat Faramir and Damrod.

If both sides complete their objectives in the same turn, the game is a draw.

C & C welcome - Any flaws in the scenarios?

I think the second scenario should be just one RW needs to be killed. Its much easier to kill Damrod and Faramir than 2 RW

Youre right but that makes it harder for the goodies

I will probably change that but its all part of the challenge...

I might incorporate some of these into my "One Campaign to Rule Them All"; I have the Pelennor Fields Rulebook but they use only the Knights of Dol Amroth. I'm glad to see you didn't forget about those Rangers in South Ithilien!

I just think the Rangers of Gondor are fun to play with and cool looking models.

Thanks, I could not leave out the rangers - I use the metal ones mainly (I have 9), they look good when all lined up :)

yeah but that makes it a biased scenario... you can't purposefully make it hard for good and easy for evil. the scenarios should be fair...

the RW have travalled far and fast to geth here. theire horses only move 20 cm and on foot only 12cm. additionally they only wear lighter travel army -1 def.
