I am looking for the best paints for miniatures, I have only recently got interest back into miniature painting after I stopped a few years back.
I was wondering if anyone had tried Andrea paints or a wide variety and can recommend the best.

I think the general consensus here is that Vallejo are currently the league leaders in the paint department. I've never tried Andrea personally.

Best advice I can give is to look for dropper bottles, they're the easiest and best to store in my opinion.

I'm using a mix of citadel (until they are empty and ready to replace by dropper bottle) and most part Vallejo.
The Army Painter have easy dropper bottles aswell, but I have no experience with their paints.
Andrea and Reaper Master Series Paints are great paints aswell.

I've recently started changing from GW to Vallejo and I'm really loving them.
They're cheaper, bigger, better (the dropper tops) and also I'm pretty sure they're more matte (so much so that my varnish sometimes makes them more shiney... =/ )

I started with Games Workshop paints, then integrated a few others like Vallejo which are excellent, however my vote go's for Foundry Paints which albeit are expensive, but have some great colour ranges.
Foundry colours come in three shades of each colour such as 'Flesh' 5A, 5B and 5C (three different bottles and 3 different shades.
This saves a lot of time mixing colours together and also saves on wasted paint from mixing. You can also mix 5A with 5B and then 5B with 5C for a smoother build up of highlights.
The one draw back is that they can be grainy and you most definitely do not want to use the paint straight from the pot. Mixing with water is essential.
