Hey all, I haven't bought any of the new GW paints (mostly because I haven't had to) so I haven't really paid attention to them. Sadly, my much-used Scorched Brown is getting towards the end of its days. I've already thinned it down some, and soon there won't be much left to thin out anyway.

Is there a conversion chart that appeared anywhere? If not, could someone at least tell me which new paint to buy as a Scorched Brown replacement?

Beautiful, thank you! I'll have to pick some of that up next time I'm in the shop. One more thing, I noticed Graveyard Earth isn't on there, has it not been replaced with anything?

I'd recommend Vallejo, Hurin - it's what I and many other members use.

They do a 'Game Colour' range which is basically identical to Citadel's older line (their 'Charred Brown' is Scorched Brown, and they tend to have similar names - Dark Green, Beasty Brown/Dark Angels Green, Bestial Brown, etc).

Crucially, they're cheaper, you get more in them, and they come in a dropper bottle for ease of use. Wayland have a good selection.

i certainly do not recommend getting any of the new washes; these are really naff and they make good models all nasty and shiny :x :x :x :x

Graveyard Earth is right above Scorched Brown :P the equivalent is Steel Legion Drab, I believe!

And those Vallejo paints sound cool, Shieldmaiden!

Just a word of warning to anyone using Mechrite Red; the new "equivalent" Mephiston Red is more like Blood Red in colour then Mechrite Red.
@Sid: I found the old washes were shiny as well, although I haven't used the new ones yet
