Hey guys, I recently started painting a team of Vault Wardens that I bought. I decided to paint it in a mainly grey scheme therefore, I chose to undercoat it in white. Since I was going to use a white base, I didn't use my Imperial Primer and instead used my Ceramite White base. I thought I did alright with it and eventually moved on to start painting other parts. I then realized the next day that the Ceramite White was way too thick. There were several cracks on my model. I also saw that the paint covered up a lot of detail in the chainmail. Good thing I didn't get to move on to painting the cloth, etc. Right now, the only part of the model that is really neat is the shield which I drybrushed with Ironbreaker after basing it with Imperial Primer. I really like the look but would paint over it anyways.
Anyways, is there any way I could fix this? Should I strip the paint or just paint over it? I don't have any Simple Green or Dettol right now. All I have is some vinegar, isopropyl alcohol, and baking soda. I don't think they'll even work. Anyways, the model doesn't look that bad and could still be painted well. I just wanted to see if I could still fix my mistake and restart all over again. Thanks.

I've heard nail polish remover with acetone is an effective paint remover, I would get rid of it all and start over. Also make sure before using the spray you shake it well and when finished hold it upside down and spray it until it turns just gas (to prevent clogging).
