When I first saw this I thought wow. And the mention of an article was great news. Well the wait was worth it. A great article. Well done Cayoz. Looking forward to Part 2

Cayoz has shown us the way! This is how you go about building massive projects!!! Something of this scale and scope is way beyond anything I would ever attempt, but he does it with apparent ease.

Gimme more! I want to see part two. Brilliant results, fantastic photos and an enjoyable read too. Excellent work.

Unbelievable, absolutely out of this world.

It makes me want to rush out and buy some Hardboard, but the prospect of saws, nails, and my fingers do not go together (I am bad enough with superglue and greenstuff  )

If I had the room and space it would have a go, but i think I had better wait until the boys have moved out first. *sigh*

Absolutely brilliant work in progress! :)

As Dagorlad said, it is beyond anything that i would even try to build (my mother may say something about a massive Minas Tirith covering my bedroom!) :D

Good for you Cayoz, you should be very proud.

Well thankyou everyone,

Firstly I'd like to say thanks to Gollum Rules! for suggesting I submit it, and to Dagorlad for uploading it, and as Elessar has mentioned, thanks to my own parents for some incredible leniency. If anyone could see how our garden patio ends up covered in sawdust, and I walk in the house with loads of it stuck to my feet...

Anyway, summer hols have almost begun, and so has my Gondorian house building projects renewed its old pace. There are going to lots of special features installed too, but I am keeping them a secret right now.

Thanks again!

Cameron

This is super-special!!

It's incredible how you could do this and photograph and document it so comprehensively. It looks absolutely brilliant already, and that's with nothing plastered or painted yet!

The fact that it promises to look even better than it does already, is mind boggling! I likewise look forward (drastically understated) to seeing part 2.

Well, Cayoz, congratulations :!:
This is a great, very interesting article. So far your Minas Tirith looks very impressive. I'm looking forward to reading second part (and maybe a guide on making Barad-Dur one day  )
Thanks for writing it, I'm sure that many people will find it very useful (for sure I do fing it awe-inspiring).

Post subject:  Minas Tirith

Wow great work. I actually plan on making it by end of this August. But by looking at the release date of this it was in 2005. Its been 3 and a half years and part 2 is not out yet :(? Can you please release it quickly. I would not want to make a Minas Tirith when the creator quit and no longer gave us instructions on how to paint it and how to make the houses (Nobody would want a big wooden castle that looks okay but a little hidious in the beginning, and your father tells you to throw it out, what a waste of money). Hopefully you're not dead. But please message me A.S.A.P. when you release it.

This looks great. It's a shame you never finished it.
