Very nice article Josh, I'll have to make some myself now. :) Extremely good terrain piece, I hope your next article is of the same high standard. Of course, I doubt that will be hard to do with the level of skill you have.

Thank you all very much for the kind words, they are much appreaciated. I'm also very glad that many of you are going to undertake the project yourselves, it makes me so happy to know I'm aiding and inspiring others in terrain building. :)

As for my next article, it will be somewhat of a companion to this piece, and I hope to finish it sometime before December if all goes well. The project will make a reappearence in my WIP as well, as I always value everyone's input on my projects. :wink:

When I’m riffling through my GW library I’m always studying the scenery for new ideas (personally, I do like their Moria models very much). No doubt lots of people also look at the pictures, wanting to have these buildings for themselves but thinking at the same time that it is way beyond their abilities to construct them. This article makes clear that if you’re able to cut some wood, glue A onto B and handle a brush, you really don’t have an excuse not to produce stunning results like this Moria Mine Working!

I was really inspired by GW's Moria terrain, in my opinion it is some of the best they've constructed. The mine workings in the Khazad-Dum Sourcebook, appeared at first glance to be difficult to construct. But with a little planning they proved to be quite an enjoyable project, and none to difficult. I hope that many of you will either use my guide, or be inspired by it, and build more of these wonderful terrain pieces. :)

Also, while I'm posting, I just have one small thing to add. Though he's probably tired of hearing it, I think I'll risk a banning and thank, Miguel (MacGothmog) again for his great help. He truly made the process of article writing much easier then it would have been for a first time writer like myself. :wink:
