Once in awhile, an article comes along that simply blows the socks off anything previously posted.

That is simply one amazing paint job

I find myself worrying about its authenticity because it simply looks too good ! Therefore, could you please post it to me so I can confirm the quality of the work involved :P

That's jaw-dropping! I've never seen such detail in a large model. It's incredible. Right, you've inspired me, I must go and paint something.

Superb article, wonderful painting and well deserved success in the Golden Demon. I must remember this article for when I get this far along.

An excellent article awcho, thank you very much for sharing it with us all. The paint job is brilliant, and your discription of the techniques used are very clear and to the point. I look forward to many more such contributions and to seeing more of your work.

Cheers

This is an exceptional piece!

One thing about the forums though, every time I rate something a ten it seems that it actually rates that thing a 1 and the average rating drops! This has happened a few times before, does anyone know the deal with this?

The best compliment I can give you is to say that when I saw pictures of your Fell Beast on the GW Games Day website I said, "Wow. When I get one, that's how I want to paint my Fell Beast."

And now you've provided an excellent painting guide on how to do that! So thank you, and keep up the incredible work.

Also, I love it that all your entries in the LA Golden Demon were conversions. I would like to see more of the LOTR winners be interesting conversions.

Bravo! A superb paintjob and a really interesting article!:D

I love the paint job you did on this beast, but in particular the wings and the effect you achieved on them. Just faboulous, incredibly life like.

Congrats on the deamon aswell, well deserved. I am sure you will win many more! :)

Keep it up, and take care

:)

I had seen this beast before, but did not have the opportunity of reading about how it was done until now. This is terrific painting, really of the highest standard.

Seeing work like this suggests that I am better suited to another hobby, one where it is not quite so painfully clear just how big the gap is between acceptable and outstanding. Well done, you deserve the recognition, hands down. :)

Thanks everyone! I'm just happy I could contribute to the OR community. I haven't been able to post much recently or work on as much stuff as I'd like to because work has been busy. I'm also supposed to go on vacation in a week. But I really appreciate everyone's comments.
