Confirmed to be in the material they were last released in (Finecast for the above, aside from Scouring which will be in metal)

Anyone else notice the foot Boromir is 'the wrong way round' in that photo? He's left handed there but right handed originally... Silly GW...

Very good move in their part, but it's really intriguing they picked the Sourcing of the Shire boxed set as well.. Didn't see that coming! I wouldn't expect it was very popular or very sought after. Can anyone shed a light on this?
Or would this mean that even non-popular models will be coming back?

I think it's sought-after for people who want to convert a mounted Thorin's company.

This is great news indeed! I was hoping for some metals to come back, so this announcement is most welcome. I wonder, if we were to go crazy on the metals when they are re-released (price point being important here though) GW/Forgeworld would consider (re)releasing more in that medium? Especially if we back our purchases up with emails saying how happy we are to see these types of minis back?

All I have to say is Im glad I sold all my copies of that stuff for a lot before they re released haha.

Scouring of the Shire especially. They were SO expensive.

This is a welcome move. Even though I have it already the Scouring box will be handy to pick up for conversions.

While its great to hear oop models are coming back, i wonder what will their price be. Without being sure i remember boromir and gothmog were 22-24£ when they were finecast.
Prices on on second hand market have dropped a lot the past year and you can find these two with 18-20£ on metal....
My point is that bringing oop models back is a great move, but if they are still on the old prices i fear this idea will not go very far :/

If this is the case, I'd rather have in in finecast. Easier to convert.

(Okay, you can throw your rotted produce now.)

I really like these news! :). I hope that GW does still have some other OOP miniatures.

Does anybody remember the price for the scouring of the shire box?

This I'm excited about. $80 on the secondary market is just gross.

Do we have estimated dates on any of these?

I believe it was $55 in Canada from release until it went OOP.

Really excited for Borimir as I just live the model, my one concern is that I hate working with fine cast... Does anyone know how much a metal mounted version goes for at all?

I think Boromir on foot can be found easily enough, it seems to be the mounted version that is hard to get.
