I just checked GW's website, and now for an order to qualify for free shipping the purchase must be over £40, not £20 as it used to be. It doesn't affect me, for I live in Greece -if anything it makes me less jealous of U.K. customers- but I imagine some people may be irritated. |

Well that is bulls***. I usually defend GW but this is stupid. Guess I can always order it to my local. |

Agreed. At a time they desperately need to be encouraging people to buy direct they're incentivising people to buy from an independent stockist. |

Are they honestly trying to ruin their business? Every decision they just makes it less likely I'll order from them. |

As a company they have an outstanding propensity for a knee jerk reaction. The expression "cutting your nose off to spite your face" comes to mind. |

Because it really wasn't high enough already... I'm genuinely wondering what GeeDub are doing, it's like they hate their customers and are actively trying to do naught but troll them... |

Postage has become ridiculously expensive, but that's quite a jump. |

Well despite the customers they will lose on this, they will still probs end up gaining more profit from the die hard buyers. It makes good money but it sure as hell isn't a good way to treat customers. |

It's not so bad at all. Just get it shipped to your local GW store for free and then pick it up two or three days later |

Indie stockist are already losing due to direct only. But this hurts GW. It is a desperate way to raise funds. Though with increasing numbers of GW stores people can just order to their store. |

In reality I've always found GW's shipping costs to be inexplicably high. I am about to order 6-7 blisters of metals, and the shipping costs for Greece are £17!!. This £17 will be taken out of my hobby budget, which could instead be used to purchase more minis. |

Not surprised by the fact that they had to increase this, as postage simply is very expensive (and rising rapidly). However, any other company in the same situation (and over the past few years, I've seen many companies change their shipping policies) sends out an email, apologising and explaining the situation. GW, on the other hand... Hardly a surprise either, but that is a much bigger problem as far as I'm concerned. |
