Does anyone know if this transition is on hold with the new releases for the hobbit? There are a number of models I would like to get before they are unavailable (but I dont have unlimited funds). It was really useful finding about Dol Amroth Men at Arms in time to get some metal ones.

I can't say for certain but I don't believe it has been stopped, even temporarily, my advice is jump on it while you still can

I've been wondering this myself. It seems to have gone quiet with the Hobbit stuff being released but you never know. Last time some members of this site found a list of miniatures being changed over so hopefully they can do it again when the time comes. It helped me pick up Erkenbrand and some Knights of Dol Amroth before they got changed over.
