I like it^^
It gives you a Christmas-feeling and makes you want to creat a (Christmas-)winter-gaming-board

I like everything but part of the frozen lakes rule. I would change it so on a 2 the model takes a Str 3 hit rather than an automatic wound (both mount and rider in the case of mounted models). Also, you wouldn't battle on a lake if there was too much risk, so I'd drop the shield modifier to zero.

Other than that, looks fun!

Those are certainly interesting rules.

Not sure what to think about them.

I a not displeased as anything for WotR I am all for, but I am not sure if they will see much use. This is coming from a guy who has all of his armies and terrain based on winter settings.

Nice additions for a "festive" game! :)

I wonder if GW has any rules for these environmental effects?

I like these rules a lot, especially the frozen lake rule. Now I really want to go make a winter board.
